It was 46 years ago that Slate Brothers began serving the residents of Howard County and the surrounding areas.
In 1970 Ted slate moved from Columbia Missouri, with his wife Mimi, a Kokomo native, to start a plumbing,
heating and air conditioning business. The first location was on Jefferson Street across from WWKI. Due to
growth, in1976, Ted and Mimi purchased land at 4602 W 100 N and built an office and warehouse where Slate
Mechanical, Inc continues to serve their customers.
What we offer is service, repair and install of plumbing, heating and air conditioning with integrity, professionalism
and courtesy. Even though there have been many changes in technology and regulation during our 46 years, Slate
Mechanical, Inc. has grown and prospered.
