Two National Guardsmen
knock off a few minutes from patrol duty to get
warm and dry in front of a fire at their improvised lean-to. Members of the guard
worked throughout last week on traffic control duty, which reached a peak yester-
day as sightseers by the thousands drove through damaged areas.

New businesses along
U.S. 33 at the northwest edge of Dunlap were
destroyed by the Sunday evening twister that started along C.R. 20 and ripped
across U.S. 33 and through the Sunnyside Addition at Dunlap. A service station,
noted for its beautiful petunia bed, was located in the foreground of the above
photo, along with a reducing salon and fruit market.
