Her longest teaching position was at Homestead Elementary School, where she taught second grade.

Bill and Adele retired while in Bucyrus, OH, and spent time golfing, gardening, carving award-winning birds, and wintering in Texas, where they birded and enjoyed walking on the beach. Two years ago, he designed a house to be built in the Christian retirement community of Pleasant Hill. One year ago, after moving in, he quickly immersed himself in the community spirit, helping build playground equipment for the child care center and with the construction of the Blue Building. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Community Church, the Lake Tansi Golf Club, the Crossville Arts Council and a woodcarving club.
He lived everyday to the fullest, touching everyone he met with his kindness, positive attitude and quick mind. But he was especially devoted to his beloved family; wife of 52 years, Adele Price Tinney; daughters, Deborah Hufstader and Terri Bules; son-in-law, Neil Bules; grandchildren, Emily Hufstader, Will and Elizabeth Bules; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Bob Palmer; nieces, Holly Barker, Robin Hamilton and Ginger Guba.

Mr. Tilley was retired from the shipping and receiving department of Cargill Co., and he was a veteran of the U. S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Tilley of Crossville; daughters, Glenda Hayes of McHenry, IL, Cheryl Tilley of Antioch, IL, and Kathey Tilley of Crossville; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Evelyn Tilley of Crossville, Lloyd and Jo Ann Tilley, Roy and Betty Tilley, and Eddie and Gail Tilley, all of Virnceton, WV; sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Al Diegel of Baltimore, MD; sisters, Pansy Eller of Crossville, and Imogene Morehead of Rising Sun, MD; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Kevin Does, Ronnie Eller, Jack Moore, Shaun Raiford, Jeffrey Morehead and Bobby Faught.

Mr. Bannister was a former 30-year resident of Sullivan's Island, SC, before moving to Fairfield Glade. He was a sales engineer, primarily for the automobile industry. He was a WOJG, serving in the Office of Strategic Services as a Marine engineer in the CBI Theater aboard a 65-foot air-sea rescue boat during World War II. Mr. Bannister was a recipient of an American Theater Service Medal, Victory Medal and an Asiatic Pacific Theater Service Medal, with a bronze star.
He issued two patent in 1977 for developments in resistance to "stress cracking" of stainless steel, for particular use in nuclear reactors.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Bannister of Fairfield Glade; daughters, Lauren Briscoe of Wando, SC, and Debbie Scott of Summerville, SC; sons, Ramon A. Bannister Jr., of Barberton, OH, and David Bannister of Lexington, SC; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and five nephews.

He was born April 25, 1918 in Cumberland County, the son of James Franklin and Susie Redwine Sullivan.
Mr. Sullivan was a salesperson for Cumberland Farmers Co-op, and he was a part-time farmer. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his cousin, Verna Wilson, of Crossville; and special friends, David Keagle and Danny Adams.
Pallbearers were Lloyd Williams, Rick Williams, J.D. Lee, Tim Redwine, Edwin Hughes and Sam Williams.
Honorary pallbearers were David Keagle and Danny Adams.
