Mr. Cooke was born Oct. 13, 1922 in Tracey City, Tenn. to the late William Clarence and Ruby Hardison Cooke Sr. He was a U.S. Air Corps veteran of World War II. He attended Tennessee Tech University, and was a graduate of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and was an honorary alumnus of the Tennessee Bible College in Cookeville. He retired from the Ralston/Purina Company after having worked in Nashville, Tampa, Fla., Albertville, Ala., and Wilson, N.C. During his career he held numerous positions including that of plant manager. He was an active member of the Mayland Church of Christ where he served as lay minister, song leader and Sunday school teacher.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Mildred Taylor; Betty Simpson and Anna Belle Dempster.

He was a licensed professional engineer who worked as a civil engineering guardsman with the Colorado Air National Guard at Buckley Air National Guard Base. He had earned the Meritorious Service Medal, the Outstanding Unit Award with two oak-leaf clusters and the Combat Readiness Medal. He also had served in Desert Storm and had worked at NORAD and CTA Inc. He was a skilled woodworker and member of the Air Force Academy Association of Graduates.

Mrs. Miller was born July 22, 1920 to Clayton and Elizabeth Chapman of Crossville. She was a member of the Dorton United Methodist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher, church treasurer and secretary throughout the years. She was employed at different times during her life as a store clerk, school cafeteria supervisor, seamstress and receptionist for United Fund. She worked with her husband in the United Fund of Cumberland County for a number of years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and three brothers.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Glenn S. Miller; daughter, Glenda Ann Bond; son-in-law, Randy Bond and two grandsons, Michael Travis Bond and Scott Miller Bond, all of Crossville; and many nephews and nieces.
A memorial service is planned for Sunday, Jan. 19 at the Dorton United Methodist church on Highway 70 East at 9:30 a.m. Friends and family are invited to the service.

Mr. Willford was born Dec. 27, 1926 in Plymouth. He enlisted in the United States Navy Dec. 21, 1944 and was stationed in Guatonomau Naval Base in Cuba where he served in the maiden voyage of the USS Macon. He was discharged on Oct. 25, 1946. After the service, he went to school to become a radio engineer and an announcer in Southern Minnesota and Defiance, Ohio.
He recruited high school seniors to become airline hostesses. He was a professional salesman with time-shares in real estate; built and owned trout ranches in Paw Paw and Hudson, Mich., and developed Cumberland Mountain Retreat in Crossville in the 1960s. Recently he was a co-owner of Pots-R-Us (Indian Pottery and Artifacts) with his nephew Vernon Pedelty.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Ethel (Derr) Willford; step-father, Charlie Snell; brother-in-law, Harold Pedelty; and infant sister, Thelma.
Survivors include his sisters, Doris Tack and her husband, Nile of Plymouth, Reva Pedelty of Nora Springs and Phyllis Peterson and her husband, Harold of Mandon, N.D.; eight nieces and nephews; and 17 great-nieces and -nephews.
