He was born May 17, 1943 in Scranton, PA, the son of Stanley Kakareka Sr. and Helen Konopka Kakareka.
Mr. Kakareka was an auditor for Proctor & Gamble.
Survivors include his wife, Marlene Kakareka of Crossville; daughter, Tammy Grey of Crossville; sons, Robert Kakareka of Nashville, and Richard Kakareka of Arlington, VA; mother, Helen Kakareka of Scranton, PA; sisters, Audrey Hallock of Scranton, and Karen Kauffman of Crossville; brothers, Raymond Kakareka and Leonard Kakareka, both of Scranton; and three grandchildren.
The Rev. Jeff Monday officiated, with special music by Ken Deadmon.

Mrs. Mills passed away Feb. 19, 1998.
She was born in Belle-Fouche, SD, and was a homemaker. She was a former long-time resident of Knoxville and moved to Evans in 1996. She was a member of the Deane Hill Country Club and West Hills Garden Club of Knoxville. Mrs. Mills was known as an avid golfer.
Survivors include her son, Dr. John Mills of Maui, HI; daughter, Susie Mills Drobny of Frisco, TX; and two grandchildren.

Mr. Sultzer was retired from the Baltimore County Board of Education and was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Lois Sultzer; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Sun Sultzer of Knoxville; grandchildren, Scott and Sue Sultzer of Knoxville; and sister, Janet Davies of Montrose, PA.
