Family fun at East Bay Branch Library


Bubbles, balloons and Cherry Capital Clowns were all part of the third annual Family Day held Saturday at the Traverse Area District Library East Bay Branch. The event also featured an ice cream social, music and a children’s book sale.

Kids and adults line up for ice cream sundaes and root beer floats complete with whipped cream and cherries on top.


Grand Traverse Metro Fire Department firefighter Hal Miller explains how fire fighting gear works to a group of inquisitive children. The fire engine demonstration was among a number of Family Day events at the East Bay Branch of the Traverse Area District Library.
