Buyers find bountiful first Farmer’s Market

An annual rite of spring, buyers shop the first Farmer’s Market of the year Saturday in downtown Traverse City. While summer fruits and vegetables are still in the ground or on the vine, shoppers found a wide variety of other items, including this trailer full of creeping phlox.

Free-range goose eggs were just some of the organic grown foods for sale at the Farmer’s Market.




Flowers were in full bloom at the first Farmer’s Market of the season and early morning buyers had their pick.
