WSH stages ‘Meet Me in St. Louis’

Performance dates Friday and Saturday at West High

     “Meet Me in St. Louis” will be presented by the advance theatre students at Traverse City West Senior High School, winner of the 2001 National Creative Ticket Award for Performing Arts.

     The comedy revolves around a turn of the century family living in St. Louis just prior to the 1904 World’s Fair. When Mr. Smith announces that the family will be moving to New York before the Fair opens, his four daughters come up with a plan to stay in St. Louis.

     Performances will be presented on Friday and Saturday, November 16 and 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the West Senior High auditorium. There will be a special $2 senior citizens matinee on Thursday, November 15 at 1 p.m. Tickets are $5 general admission and are available at the West Senior High office or at the door.
